Ed Bouterie is Director in Charge in Houma and Thibodaux. With previous public accounting experience in national and local firms, he joined the Firm as a result of a merger in 1981.
His expertise includes tax return preparation for individuals and businesses and he provides accounting, auditing and clients advisory services for a broad spectrum of clients that include oilfield service companies, governmental entities, construction companies, retailers and medical, legal and nonprofit organizations.
A Nicholls State graduate, Ed was certified in 1974. He is active with the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, a past President of its South Central Chapter and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He is a member of the Board and Fund Distribution Committee of the United Way for South Louisiana and a Past President and Past Campaign Chairman. He is a member, Past Chairman and Treasurer of the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Nicholls State University Department of Accounting and Business Law Advisory Board and a member of the Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, South Central Industrial Association and Rotary International.
