Laurie C. Carriere, CPA is an Audit Manager. Her areas of specialization include not for profits, educational institutions, engineering firms, professional service organizations, film tax credits and worker's compensation insurance organizations.

Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans in 1998 and joined the firm in 1999. She is an active participant in the firm's mentoring program, whereby she mentors many junior staff in the firm.

She currently services as Vice President of the St. Catherine of Siena School Board and is an active member of the Chateau Estates Lakefront Civic Association. For several years she was a member of the Board of Directors of Holy Cross High School. In addition, she served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Business Affairs Committee for three years including the school's tumultuous years following Hurricane Katrina as it grappled with tough finance issues and relocation challenges. She has also volunteered for several community based organizations including years of mentoring troubled youth.

While Laurie managers her full-time career, she is also the mother of two daughters. She is actively involved in their school activities and volunteers as a French teacher, Room Captain, Brownie Troop chaperone and member of the Mother's Co-op. She is a member of UNO's Alumni Association, Ursuline Academy High School Alumni Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana CPAs where she has served as a member of various committees.
