Marcie duQuesnay is a Manager in the Tax Services Department. With 20 years experience in the area of estate and gift taxation, both in planning and compliance, she is one of the few experts in the region. She works extensively with trusts, estates, charitable remainder trusts, private foundations and non-profit organizations. Marcie earned a Bachelors degree in accounting and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi. Marcie was selected as a Greater New Orleans YWCA Role Model in 1996, which honors extraordinary women in our community and celebrates their contributions in business, the arts and the community as well as their leadership and service. Her community involvement includes service on the Academy of the Sacred Heart Finance Committee and the Trinity Church Altar Guild and Planned Giving committees. She is a past Board member of Southeast Louisiana Girl Scouts and member of the Finance Committee. She actively served the Junior League of New Orleans, holding various treasurer positions during her time with them. She has been a guest speaker on WYES's "Talk About Taxes" and WTIX's "Let's Talk it Over". Marcie is also a member of the New Orleans Estate Planning Council and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. |
