Dan Toepfer is a Director in the Houma office. A native of New Orleans, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Orleans and had experience in private industry and with a national CPA firm before joining Bourgeois Bennett.
With an extensive background in corporate tax, not-for-profit and the governmental and commercial areas of accounting, Dan is a valuable firm and client resource. He combines his skills and experience to offer creative cost-saving solutions to clients problems.
Active in the community, he is a Board member of the Houma-Terrebonne Rotary Club, the Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Terrebonne and is Secretary of the Morganza Action Coalition. Dan is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and serves on various committees of the Society of Louisiana CPAs.
